CITY TO CITY TROUGH GORGES, VALLEYS AND SANDDUNES

DAY 1

MARRAKECH, TIZI N’TICHKA, AIT BEN HADDOU, OUARZAZATE, SKOURA

Departure from your riad in Marrakech in the morning for crossing the fabulous landscape of High Atlas mountains and passing the Tizi n’ Tichka pass ( 2260 M ) and Imini valley before reaching the UNESCO world heritage site of the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and also the scene of famous film productions such as Gladiator and Games of Thrones. After visiting the kasbah and having lunch we continue our way to Dades valley and the road of thousand  kasbahs via Skoura palmery and Rose valley. We will reach Dades in the end of the afternoon. Night and dinner in nice hotel .

DAY 2

TODRA GORGES, MERZOUGA

After breakfast we drive to Todra gorges, the highest gorges in Morocco (300m high), on the way we will have several stops to give you the opportunity to take pictures at panoramic sites. We will have a walk in the palmery and have and a tea at a Berber family, before driving further to Tourougfor having lunch. We will visit an old system of irrigation. After the visit we will continue our way to Merzouga where you will get a room to put your luggage and start the magical experience of having a camel ride to the middle of the dunes and spend the night under a million stars. Night and dinner in a Berber tents

DAY 3

ERG CHEBBI, RISSANI, AZROU, FEZ,

If you wake up early enough, you can see the marvelous sunrise on the top of the Erg Chebbi dunes (250m high) before heading back again on “the ship of the desert” to your hotel to have breakfast and a refreshing shower. All fresh we will drive north passing by Rissani and Erfoud for crossing the High Atlas mountains to reach Fez via Midalet Azrou where we will stop for meeting the Barbarian monkeys and you will have the chance of taking some nice pictures there. We end our magical journey in the cultural capital of Morocco Fez in the end of the afternoon.
